Poland are the better team in this tie. They will have the best player on the pitch, the better team and dudes that can hurt and take out Switzerland. But that's not how football works and if Poland are not on their game or are lax in their approach, then they will lose to an always very disciplined Switzerland.
The way the Polish should approach this should be very careful. It's an amazing draw for them when you think of the other trickier teams they could have gotten. Switzerland have not looked good at all too me. Solid, but nothing memorable so far. They have been much weaker than in previous cups and their top players haven't impressed. Shaqiri being the biggest culprit. So all signs seem to point to a Polish victory, but underestimating is a very dangerous game to play.
It's always a very tricky way to come into a match where you know you should win, that you know you've got the better players and you're going up against a weaker bunch. This can lead to your team not playing to their potential and instead of taking the initiative, rely on things just happening. These all can play into the hands of the Swiss, who will be very focused tactically and will find ways of shutting down the dangerous players from Poland, focusing most of their efforts on Lewandowski.
It's also important for Lewandowski to finally arrive at this tournament. He is overdue a goal and his country will need the very best of him and more. So not only does he need to bring in his teammates into the game once they attack, but he's got to get into the danger area and cause hell and havoc for the Swiss defenders.
It's time that Bayern/Dortmund Lewandowski showed up at these Euros as it's not been clicking for him so far.
It would be a disaster for Poland who are entering unchartered territory in big tournaments if they were to go out against Switzerland. For a team who have looked so good in attack and are a nice outsider, getting eliminated so early would be very disappointing. This has got to be a match they take very seriously and must give respect to the Swiss and bring their A game for the entire game. Their performance against Ukraine won't cut it. If they play like that, then they'll get beat. HH
