Cristiano Ronaldo's Header Shows His Goalscoring Power

I have always said, and I will say it again. Cristiano is not the greatest or most graceful footballer to watch, but he's one of the greatest goalscorers that game has ever seen. He proved that again against Wales where he showed he can be dormant for an entire game, and pop up to define it.

France Show Germany That Goals Win Games, Not Possession

Asking people for who they thought would win this game, it was split. Some thought Germany would be too good for the French shaky defence and others believed the home crowd would spur on their team to victory. In the end, the Velodrome was a fotress that worked for France who did what they had to for the win.

That crowd though...wow.

Pepe Is and Has Been Vital for Portgual

From the red card-prone, brainless executioner to an accomplished central defender. Pepe has made some sizeable steps in his career, and has now become a vital member for Portgual's chances of glory. Make no mistake, Portugal need Pepe if they want to achieve glory for their nation and right the wrongs of 2004.

Payet's Amazing Euro 2016 Deserves More Recognition

There have been some pretty good players at the Euros, but no one has been more consistent and stood out more than Dimitri Payet. He is for me, the undoubted best player so far, and has been one of the main reasons why France have looked good, and may be the one man who can be decisive in winning them the competition on their patch.

France Have Finally Arrived, in the Lubrication of Islande/Iceland

Better late than never and the perfect time as well. With a possible semi-final against Germany awaiting, France had to give themselves confidence of beating the world champions by having a big performance; something they had yet to do at these Euros.

Italy and Conte Have Left Their Mark on Euro 2016

Sometimes there can even be victory in defeat.

Italy may have been knocked out by the World Champions, but they will not be forgotten. What Conte has achieved by what many in Italy even, regarded as rejects giving them no hope of even making it past the Second Round, has been truly remarkable. He and his boys should be very proud as they made a very loud and powerful statement about football tactics and strenght in the whole rather than the one.

Germany Find a Way and Triumph over Italy in Epic Penalty Shootout

This had to be the toughest game that these German players have ever gone through. Facing a behemoth of an Italian defence who again were resolute and tough to break down. Germany eventually became the first team to succesfully penetrate the Juventus backline but it was short-lived with the Italians coming back. Which setup a memorable and unforgettable penalty shootout.
